Every year in May, a new academic year begins at Fahad Wittayathan School. Every year, the same question has to be answered: how do we make sure every child walks in ready to learn?
For most families, school supplies are an inconvenience. For the orphaned and underprivileged students here, they are out of reach.
Books. Stationery. Uniforms. The basics that every other child shows up with on the first day. This campaign covers all of it — for every student who needs it — before the school year begins.
The number of students supported and the total budget will be confirmed and published once the academic year intake is finalised. What is certain is that the need will be there.
Do not let a child start the year behind because of something this fixable.
