At Vision 99, we believe that sustainable living is deeply rooted Islamic value. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of moderation, conservation, and respect for all of creation. This commitment to sustainable living is at the heart of our efforts to build the world’s first faith-based Living Building—a regenerative house of worship that embodies the highest standards of environmental stewardship. A Living Building goes beyond reducing harm; it actively contributes to the healing of the environment. It’s a space that generates more energy than it takes, captures all rainwater on site, and is built using materials that do not harm the planet. This is faith-based sustainability in action—a real expression of our Islamic values.
